Let’s start off talking about Why use Sound at all?
Detractors say it adds bandwidth and little value--of course, you could say the same for any technology you add to a web site. If you use it JUST BECAUSE YOU CAN, it doesn’t add anything.
But used with thought and care, sound can add a great deal. The real answer as to why use sound lies in your own site, your own content, your own audience.
