sound designers can present series of sonic events (musical, speech elements, environmental sounds)
different visual/sonic events can have different spatial locations
user should control some of the events
sound should form a discreet, organic part of the interface
consider amount and type of info on page; pair sound to stylist content of visuals and animation
consider providing certain information only via sound (remember its appeal to the emotions)
